Lyn
Lyn's work explores the construction of our identities, the conflict between our social and private selves, the effects of our working lives and roads left untravelled. Her fascination with these issues is fuelled by a passionate interest in how and why we choose, and construct, the stories we tell about ourselves.
She chooses to work with photographs, videos and the written word because of their ability to effectively convey complex narratives. Her goal is to document as many stories as possible. Since 2008, Lyn has been a West Midlands Regional Co-ordinator for a national Mind anti-discrimination and media project to support participants to share their personal stories of tackling discrimination.
Linda
From detailing the horror of receiving big pants for Christmas in Bella, to reporting on the heinous crimes of Fred West, Linda's career in journalism goes back too many years. Her company, Passionate Media, founded in 2003, supplies commercial writing services for national and local clients as well as popular training workshops for aspiring and established freelance journalists, and marketing teams in writing, business and social media skills.
