LYN and I met before half term to talk about the future of this blog with an aim of planning upcoming content.
That plan will soon be under way.
In the coming weeks we'll start to make some tweaks to ensure it's serving the purpose we hope it can and continuing to provide a platform for people to speak up about their experiences of mental illness.
Thank you to everyone who has posted on, commented on or read our blog so far. It's hard to describe how it feels when someone tells you that something you have written or published has helped them.
But this is happening regularly with this blog and we are very touched by the feedback.
That's why we want to continue.
To do, so just go to the right hand side of this page and click to cut and paste the HTML code displayed with the above badge. If you display this badge in your sidebar, each time someone clicks on it, they will be directed to our home page. Thank you very much to Liz at Violet Posy for sorting this out as I was well baffled by how that works! You need to include the HTML code in your sidebar to see the badge.
If you would like to receive our posts by email or through a reader, please click on where it says 'Subscribe in a reader' at the top in our right hand side column.
There's a facebook page you can 'join' too if you would like, which also helps raise awareness. Here, we post links to our posts and other links we hope may be of interest:
If you click here, it will take you to our facebook page, or follow the link again on the right hand side. As I write there are more than 250 people who have said they "like" us - thank you, we're so very pleased and grateful for the support.
Lastly, if you would like to support my entry in the blog awards scheme The MADs, please click on the following image:
This will take you to the homepage of the awards and you can vote for the blog You've Got Your Hands Full in the Inspirational Blogger category. This nomination was made, I understand, to recognise blogging about mental health. That's why if it gets any further, after reaching the finalists' round, any prize will be donated to benefit Mind.
The closing date is Sunday, June 6, at midnight.
So - hooray I can promise not to mention it after that.
Please do let us know of anything you would like to see covered, or if you would like to share your story, we'd love to hear from you.
Lyn has set up a dedicated Breaking the Silence email address and as soon as I get my arse into gear and remember what it is/where I can find it, I'll let you know.
Thanks again.

I have added the badge to my site and I am proud to do so.
