Whilst the rest of us were watching Posh and Becks arrive at the abbey on the morning of the Royal Wedding, one of our clients was busy beavering away at St James's Palace, helping the guests look their very best.
Deborah Mitchell, of
Heaven Skincare, was invited along to Clarence House by the Duchess of Cornwall - a big fan of her Bee Venom treatment - to help her prepare for the big event.
Deborah, who owns Heaven salon in Shropshire, spent three days at the palace in the run up to the event, and the wedding day itself, treating and advising Camilla, and a number of other wedding guests, including Camilla’s daughter Laura, and daughter-in-law, Sarah.
Deborah said it was an unbelievable experience, and was delighed to discover she now has other royal fans, thanks to Camilla.
“It was so exciting to be invited along to Clarence House, and to have played a part in the preparations for such a wonderful occasion,” said Deborah.
“The atmosphere was electric, and I still don’t think I have come down to earth following three days at St James’s Palace.
“As well as some treatments, I also gave the Duchess of Cornwall some advice on make-up for the wedding too, and was so pleased when I saw her on the television, getting so many complimentary remarks about how she looked.
“I was able to get back to my hotel in time to see the wedding – I think Camilla looked wonderful on the day – her choice of outfit, and colours were inspired – and I felt really proud to have played a part in that.
“The Duchess of Cornwall has been so complimentary about the Bee Venom mask, and I was really priviledged when she told me she has passed it on to other members of the royal family,” she added.
The Bee Venom mask hit the headlines after Dannii Minogue announced she had ditched Botox in favour of the venom, and a more natural approach.
The revolutionary product gives an instant anti-aging effect, as it helps to control the facial muscles, but unlike Botox, the product contains a host of natural, organic ingredients, including Manuka honey, shea butter and essential oils.
Having returned back down to earth, Deborah will be in the West Midlands next week, at Tettenhall hair and beauty salon Heavenly, to help the salon celebrate becoming official Heaven Skincare stockists. The launch is on May 17th, from 7pm onwards.
