A right Royle time for Compton Hospice

THANKS to Steve Saul from Route 39 for a great night yesterday when Ricky Tomlinson and his pal, comedian Gary Skyner came to Wolverhampton.

Linda is a bigger fan than most of the Liverpudlian funnyman as she's quite often to be heard telling anyone who'll listen that she went into labour laughing at Jim Royle on the TV.

So it was an absolute pleasure to meet the man in the flesh, have a good laugh at his anecdotes and stand-up comedy as well as being moved by his compassion and fire in his belly where politics is concerned.

The evening also raised cash for Compton Hospice.
