Compton Hospice is offering a sure bet for a great night out with their Final Furlong Ball, which is set to help the charity top £500,000 in the Raising the Roof appeal.
The ball, at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Saturday March 26, is set to significantly boost the fund’s coffers, which will go towards the £3.5 million refurbishment of patient facilities at the hospice.
The black tie ball, from 7pm to midnight, includes a three-course meal, a charity auction and a live band, the evening will be compered by Wolf Radio’s Dicky Dodd.
The renovation work, set be completed in May, will provide 21st Century facilities for hospice patients.
Head of fundraising at Compton Hospice Sue Chance said: “We’re hoping our supporters will back the ball which should see us over the winning line to raise £500,000 for Raising the Roof. There isn’t a better sure fire, odds-on bet for a fun night out, with Wolverhampton Racecourse ensuring the going will be excellent.
“We’re hoping businesses will make us their favourites by booking a table or making a group booking but couples and friends are also welcome to have a flutter for a fabulous evening at only £50 per person,” she said.
Nathan Corden, head of commercial development at Wolverhampton Racecourse, said: “It’s great to be onboard with Compton Hospice to host their annual dinner which is sure to be a clear winner for everyone from the first furlong to the last.”
Tickets for the ball are £50 per person, or £480 per table of 10, to book tickets call 0845 2255 497 or email fundraising@compton-hospice.org.uk
