WE'RE Rebecca fans in the Passionate Media office (those who admit to watching X Factor that is) but it seems our allegiances may have to switch after reading a report in the Evening Mail.
It appears One Direction heart-throb Liam Payne (pictured fourth from left in case you have been living under a rock) has raised cash for Compton Hospice in fundraising events at top Wolverhampton hair salon Royston Blythe.
Read more about kindhearted Liam's support for our wonderful client here.
Royston says: "Liam has been a loyal client of the salon for years and managed to find the time last week to pop into the salon and say hello to the staff.
"He had a nice surprise when we unveiled our new decorative windows - now adorned with banners announcing our support for Liam and his group.
"All of our clients are now in no doubt who the RB team will be voting for on Saturday nights, and hopefully they’ll be joining us in supporting Liam, who is always a pleasure to have around.
"Of course, he’ll have to adjust to a slightly different way of life, as even though his salon visit was brief and non-publicised, there was still a small army of fans and photographers waiting outside!
"Luckily, as a celebrity hair salon, we are used to such things! As One Direction’s popularity on the show grows, they’ll no doubt build a successful career in pop music; in fact it looks likely that we’ll soon have to add Liam’s name to our celebrity clientele web page..."
Here's some more information about the 17-year-old who now has hundreds of thousands on Facdbook and Twitter:
Liam used to run for the UK and would have been training for 2012 now but he gave it up so that he could concentrate on his singing.
He says the running will hopefully come in handy when he has to run away from girl groupies! Liam applied for The X Factor in 2007 and reached the judges' houses stage.
Since then, Liam has performed at Party In Park in Stourbridge with Ricky Loney, Same Difference at the Wolverhampton Football Stadium to 30,000 fans and has supported Peter Andre.
He would love to perform with Wil.I.Am.
Bet he's kicking himself he ended up with Simon Cowell instead of Cheryl Cole then.
Or maybe not.
