Decorators show off their buff finish for Compton Hospice

HEY lads, you forgot your top coat.

These brave souls have bared all in a cheeky calendar for Compton Hospice.

The team of 21 workers from C7 Decorators in Bilston have managed to pull off an ultimate buff finish to raise money in memory of workmate Ron Harrison who passed away in the hospice earlier in the year, aged 65.

It will be the first ever nude calendar sold by the Wolverhampton hospice and the decorators, called the C7 Calendar Boys, hope sales will raise £7,500 for the charity.

X Factor Liam's Compton Hospice connection

WE'RE Rebecca fans in the Passionate Media office (those who admit to watching X Factor that is) but it seems our allegiances may have to switch after reading a report in the Evening Mail.

It appears One Direction heart-throb Liam Payne (pictured fourth from left in case you have been living under a rock) has raised cash for Compton Hospice in fundraising events at top Wolverhampton hair salon Royston Blythe.

Royston says: "Liam has been a loyal client of the salon for years and managed to find the time last week to pop into the salon and say hello to the staff.

"He had a nice surprise when we unveiled our new decorative windows - now adorned with banners announcing our support for Liam and his group.

Racecourse party cheers up fire-hit Wolverhampton school pupils

WELL done to Wolverhampton Racecourse and the other businesses in the city who got together to host a halloween party to help lift the spirits of youngsters whose school was recently destroyed in a fire.

The event was held in the Ringside suite at Wolverhampton Racecourse,after Beacon Radio breakfast show DJ Fresh raised concerns about the plight of pupils from Wilkinson Primary School in Bradley.
