KNOW your RSS from your e-newsletter? How about Flickr, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube?
We will pass on lessons learned through high profile blogging, Facebook and Twitter use.
Our social media campaigns have made waves, with The Times calling our latest site 'one to watch' and brands including Disney and Ford seeking our input.
After being asked by clients to provide this service, we are hosting a workshop with practical examples of how to boost your business using social media.
It will cover:
- Blogging - what's the point?
- Twitter - setting up and first steps
- Facebook for business
- Why podcast?
We will also address questions such as how long do I need to spend on social networking to stand out from the crowd? and What are some basic dos and don'ts?
Join us Wednesday, 21 October, from 9.30am - 12.30pm at Regus Meeting Rooms, Watling Court, Orbital Plaza.
For those already using social media, our intermediate workshop will show you how to maximise its impact on your business.
This will include:
- Building a community
- Interacting rather than "broadcasting"
- Combining social media activity with more traditional profile raising methods
And answer questions about maximising your presence on social media platforms, returns you can expect on your investment and what to do about negative comments.
Each session will be highly practical. Be prepared to participate, answer questions about your business and discuss examples of what has and hasn't worked for you.
Places are limited to ensure maximum value for money.
The intermediate workshop will be on Wednesday, 21 October, from 1.30pm until 4.30pm at Regus Meeting Rooms.
We are confident that if you attend the beginners' session in the morning, you will have gained enough knowledge to be able to benefit from the intermediate session in the afternoon.
Questions addressed include:
How can I maximise my presence on social media platforms?
What will my return on investment be?
Why should anyone follow me?
How many followers do you need?
....Quantity versus quality
What do I do about negative comments?
