Helping put our county's Lifelong Learning Network on the map

WE'RE excited to be now working with the Staffordshire and Shropshire Lifelong Learning Network to help publicise its many achievements in higher and vocational education.
 
The network - a collaboration of universities, further education colleges, employers and private training providers - empowers learners to access vocational courses and gain qualifications which they may have missed out on in their earlier lives or careers.

It creates new learning opportunities and helps people understand how they can progress through the system.
 

It's also forging excellent links with local employers and clearly demonstrates the benefits of higher level skills - not only for staff but for their places of work.
 
The LLN is an innovative example of how different institutions can effectively work together with a common goal - so it's a delight for us to be involved.

 

Our first job is to help in the production of a DVD publicising the LLN's work to date for their conference to be held at the Moat House Hotel, in Acton Trussell on Tuesday, March 3.
