A STAFFORDSHIRE accountancy firm has boosted its bottom line by scooping a national award for its innovation in helping customers prosper.
Accountancy 4 Growth, based in Cannock, has been named 2008 Entrepreneurial Firm of the Year by the prestigious Probiz network, made up of 200 accountancy firms across the UK. The Probiz network is viewed as one of the most respected of its type in the UK.
The award is for being the best in using new ways to help firms across the whole of their business, as well as financial management.
“This is recognition for being the most innovative within a very innovative part of the profession,” said managing director of Accountancy 4 Growth, Ian Beech.
“It’s very exciting and quite humbling to be recognised in this way.”
The firm, which also has offices in Wolverhampton and Stoke, has provided a diverse range of services, offering outside expertise and promoting new products to improve the lifestyle and performance of business people.
“The award is recognition of our approach to look beyond just figures or finance and look at the wider interests of business to help them grow,” said Ian Beech.
“For our clients it means we’re constantly looking at ways to improve how they do business and are questioning how they work, it gives them the peace of mind that while they are working hard at their business we are looking at ways to improve it even more.
“Our values of helping businesses to grow, to minimise or eradicate their tax liability, invest the profits from it wisely and help business people to perform at their best are ones that are in tune with the Probiz values.
“The Probiz network has enabled us to fulfil part of our mission. Through the network of likeminded accountancy firms we’ve been able to provide very specialised expertise, and promote products that wouldn’t have been possible on our own, in addition to offering the best financial advice.
“This approach has meant that Accountancy 4 Growth, through the Probiz network, has been able to offer services beyond those offered by most other accountancy firms.”
This has included a strategic tax planning service and sales seminars run in conjunction with millionaire businessman Peter Thomson, one of the UK’s leading strategists on business growth.
The Probiz network has been supported by Dragon’s Den star and millionaire retailer Theo Paphitis, who is working with Probiz the network to improve the performance of UK businesses.
