
COVERAGE for Midlands opticians Colin Lee is set to go up and up with the company marking its 30th anniversary.
Thirty balloons will be released to commemorate the birthday at each of the branches at Great Barr and Ward End in Birmingham as well as at Lichfield, Burntwood, Tamworth, Rugeley and Aldridge.
Customers seeing the balloons off will also get the chance to grab a discount on all purchases on the day.
In celebrating the success of the company the firm has also got one eye on the past as the balloon launch will be the last day to enter the Colin Lee Retro Specs competition where customers are asked to dig out their wackiest and oldest pair of glasses. All the specs will be donated to Vision Aid Overseas to improve eye care in developing countries.
The launches, 11am at each location, are at Great Barr –August 30, Lichfield – September 4, Burntwood – September 6, Ward End – September 11, Rugeley – September 13, Aldridge – September 20 and Tamworth – September 26.
