AND, when you consider the above video, do they really need to?
This Saturday, Linda is addressing a conference run by the United Nations Youth and Student Association of the UK, and the theme of her contribution will be how to campaign by getting journalists' attention.
This will be an interactive session with around 60-80 young people and Linda will include guidance on how to target journalists at various levels of the media, plus examples of how you groups or individuals can take matters in to their own hands to make a splash.
She'll include examples where blogs have given groups a voice, YouTube videos have shone a light on the concerns of so-called ordinary people (as happened this week in Telford, see the video above) and where campaigns on social networking sites have spilled over to the real world.
The event is at Birmingham University and will be a great opportunity to interact with delegates from across the world.

Linda, wishing you the very best for Saturday! You rock, girl.
