CAROL'S latest networking initiative is full of beans!
Wings – Women’s Independent Networking Groups – which is run by Passionate Media's Carol Garrington - is inviting people to catch-up over a coffee at its new Espresso Exchange sessions.
These will be informal get-togethers for business women across the Black Country and Staffordshire, giving them the chance to meet and network over a drink in a café or bar.
The sessions will be held in addition to regular, more structured monthly Wings meetings, and offer people the chance to build on the relationships made within the group, in a more relaxed setting.
The first two in the area are being hosted by the Wolverhampton and Walsall branches, on February 7 and 19 respectively.
The sessions both run from 10am, when members and non-members are invited to go along to Starbucks coffee shop in Dudley Street, Wolverhampton, or Café Roma, in West Midlands House in Gipsy Lane, Willenhall.
Carol said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for people to meet on a less formal basis, though our meetings are renowned for their friendly atmosphere.”
“For non-members, it gives them a great insight into what Wings is about, without them having to make any more of a commitment than buy a cup of coffee.
“We hope the really relaxed nature of the sessions will help people to strengthen relationships, which in turn will strengthen the groups and help generate even more business for everyone.”
Wings currently has six groups across the Midlands, offering networking opportunities suited to the busy lives of working women, with plans to expand even further over the next 12 months.
