This month's edition of the NSPCC's Your Family magazine contains our three-page spread on having twins or triplets. The families interviewed were a joy to deal with. Each had faced their own dramas and the sorts of challenges that are so often par for the course when you have a multiple birth family. There isn't a link available online to the current issue but it's available in all Early Learning Centres! What shone through, despite the inevitable difficulties, especially with babies born so early, was how blessed we all are.
I've been thinking about the sheer volume of material I have available on multiple births, since my early days of volunteering for Tamba and then as director Helen Forbes tells me "talking myself into a job." That's why I am working on a new blog. It's a pretty low key affair at the moment as there is much to do and the site is still taking shape, but I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing it take off. So if you know anyone with twins, triplets or more, or who have just had the great news that they are expecting more than one bundle of joy in one go - then please point them in the direction of "You've got your hands full."
